Welcome to CoJu, the Colorado Junior Writer's Project. CoJu is dedicated to developing a writing communitywhere students feel safe to write with abandon, where they can exploretheir deepest thoughts and develop their passion for writing. Be assured that your child will have an incredible experience.

CONTENT
-Getting into the 'writing zone'
-Developing craft and style


-Mastering the writing process
-Using powerful imagery and literary devices
-Exploring unconventional genres (blogs, rants, manifestos, etc.)

Each day students:

-Incorporate kinesthetic activities with writing

WHO

-The writing ability of participants is not important. However, CoJu is specifically for young adults that enjoy writing.

-Our goal is to help writers develop their passion, their voice and a meaningful relationship with writing. We empower kids to tap into their deepest truths and to ignite a fire within that is ultimately life changing.

-CoJu is designed to be fun and to empower students to write about what is personally inspiring.

Several options are available. Each camp includes five days of pure writing bliss.

Tailored to incoming 5th-12th graders.

M-F 9am-2pm.

Locations:

Boulder: First Baptist Church, 1237 Pine St, Boulder, CO

Cherry Creek, Longmont, Ft. Collins and Colorado Springs locations TBA.
